Is Your Freedom of Belief in Jeopardy From a Foreign Leader?

OVERVIEW

Your phone is tapped, your house has been broken into and you are followed everywhere you go. Your life and family are in danger, all simply for their spiritual beliefs. If you lived in a communist country such as China, it may not be hard to imagine, but what if you live here in the United States?

If you live outside of China and practice Falun Gong you may be a victim of these same senseless crimes. The leader of China, not content with banning the practice of Falun Gong in his own country has extended the persecution to North America and many other countries around the world.

Jiang Zemin has used hired thugs and consulate officials to slander and attack practitioners here in North America. The members of Chinese consulates and embassies have attempted to coerce elected officials in the U.S. and Canada into denying support for Falun Gong. The Chinese embassies hold press conferences and meetings to pressure Western governments to vote against important human rights initiatives condemning China for its treatment of Falun Gong. If this wasn’t enough they employ tactics such as wire taps, death threats, break-ins and car bombings all in effort to dissuade practitioners from exposing Jiang Zemin’s crimes to the world. Americans and Canadian citizens have been attacked and persecuted for their practice of Falun Gong, right in their own country.

Jiang Zemin has brought the persecution of Falun Gong beyond China’s borders, into the homes and lives of people around the world.
