(The Epoch Times) The Peru Falun Dafa Association filed a criminal lawsuit in Peru Supreme Court against Zeng Qinghong, Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan and Bo Xilai on Janaury 28, 2005 for genocide and crimes against humanity. According to a report from Clearwisdom.net, the Peruvian Supreme Court (Ministerio Publico y la Corte Suprema de Justicia de la Republica Peru) accepted the lawsuit documents at 12:57 pm on January 28. The case number
was No. 1704.

It was reported that the Peru Falun Dafa Association filed the lawsuit during Zeng Qinghong's visit to Peru on January 28. Reporters from Clearwisdom.net tried to contact the 140-person delegation, but was refused.

Since the major media in Peru didn't report the visit of Zeng Qinghong, the local people didn't seem to know about the visit of the Chinese delegation.

This is reportedly the thirteenth lawsuit filed against Jiang Zemin outside China. The Peru Falun Dafa Association held a press conference explaining the case on the afternoon of January 29.

All four defendants are or were high-ranking Chinese officials. Zeng Qinghong is the Vice-President of China, Ziang Zemin the former dictator, Luo Gan sits on the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party, and Bo Xilai is the Chinese Minister of Commerce.

Jiang was instrumental in initiating the brutal nationwide crackdown on Falun Gong, and the others have been implicated in crimes against humanity, and the torture and murder of Falun Gong practitioners.

Falun Gong is a traditional exercise and meditation practice that Jiang outlawed in 1999 when its popularity outstripped that of the Communist Party.
