Photos of 36-year-old Ms. Gao Rongrong, whose face was severely disfigured from seven hours of electric shock torture, were obtained from sources inside China last week. (article)

These photos were taken approximately 10 days after she attempted to escape from her torturers, so the wounds have had some time to heal already.
