Bo Xilai Charged with Genocide Against Falun Gong Practitioners in China
WASHINGTON DC (FDI) - Bo Xilai, the Minister of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, was served with a lawsuit today during his visit to the United States. The complaint alleges such serious human rights abuses as torture, genocide and other crimes against humanity while persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Over Forty Practitioners Arrested in Shuangcheng City, Three Tortured to Death
Since February 11, 2004, personnel from the "610 Office" and policemen in Shuangcheng City rounded up Dafa practitioners. According to incomplete statistics, by February 28, over forty practitioners have been arrested. Based on the most recent information, among the arrested, three practitioners have been tortured to death within a couple of days.

A Junior High School Girl in Chenzhou City Is Deprived of Her Education for Promoting "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance"
Ai Dan, a fourteen-year old girl, was a student in the eighth grade at Heyeping Middle School in the Suxian District of Chenzhou City in Hunan Province. She started practicing Falun Dafa in 1998. By the second semester of 2001 some of her classmates wanted to practice Falun Dafa and were reading Zhuan Falun. Officials from the 610 Office came to the school immediately, ordered the students out of their classes and interrogated them.

Lives of Peril for Three Female Practitioners Who Suffered Torture and Abuse at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp
The following Dafa practitioners suffered inhuman tortures at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. Now their whereabouts are unknown and it is doubtful that they are still alive.

CW: Harbin Industry University Professor, Mr. Wang Dayuan, Tortured to Death at the Harbin First Prison
Mr. Wang Dayuan, 30 years old, was a teacher at the Computer Science and Technology Institute of Harbin Industry University. He was tortured to death on April 5, 2004. The prison leaders tried to shift responsibility by saying that three criminal inmates beat Mr. Wang to death.

(National Post) Last Friday, a motion to proclaim "Falun Dafa Day" was killed at Toronto City Hall. That was after the Chinese consulate mailed a letter to councillors, warning that the motion would have a "very negative effect on Toronto-China relations."
